Interesting picture on the 11.5" Commando SBR. The closeup is the same image shown on the lower page, but the full rifle picture appears to have selector stops along with an older style 11.5" pencil barrel with .625" journal and no bayonet lug. My Guess is that AU ordered a new batch from Colt. Now that Colt is owned by CZ they seem to be happy to manufacture anything that AU wants to order. Yeah, it hurts. At the time it was an impulse purchase and I couldn't believe that I paid so much money for a rollmark and sold them shortly after receiving them. Funny how memory works. I thought for sure I paid $600 each and when I looked up the receipt I got a pit in my stomach. What a difference 7 years makes. That seems to always happen when I sell something so I rarely do. This is a good reminder to me not to sell anything if I don't need the cash. I almost always end up regretting it (notable exceptions include Keltec PF9 & Turkish Shotgun) . The lower had a stamped logo with a laser engraved M4 Commando tm beneath it. I am willing to bet that the new ones are 100% laser engraved. |

There were only 300 of the roll marked ones from around 2016. We were able to secure these from Colt and they are just as nice, if not nicer in my opinion; they come from the factory with unnotched hammers, the laser engraving came out perfect from Colt, serial number range starts at LE700000 or something like that |

I appreciate what you guys do for us Colt fans. You continue to deliver unique Colt items year after year. I bought one of this M203's with the 37mm tube, awesome. The Colt Folding stock, awesome. The EU Colt Carbines, one of each, awesome. When I bought the M4 Commando lowers, it was an impulse and it seemed like a lot of money to me at the time for various reasons, but not because I thought they were overpriced. I probably had spent too much money on gun stuff and the logo didn't mean much to me at the time. Like I said, impulse purchase, and then it arrives and after tax and transfers I have $700 invested in two lowers. I wish now that I had just thrown them in the safe like the other stuff and forgotten about them. I have a thing for stamped logos, but thats not to say that there is anything wrong with the laser etched ones. I appreciate that AU brings products like this to the market, which is part of the reason I posted it here for my fellow Arfcom Colt fans. |

| Collectibles aren't for everyone, they are limited and can't be acquired elsewhere, which is why there is a premium attached. The last time M4 Commando marked receivers were available was from us in 2016, those immediately sold for 5x the price! Good luck even finding one of those, they went for $300 as stripped receivers; now we have complete receivers or firearms as a one time production likely won't see these or the SCWs ever again. Same for the M203 37mm, people doubted them and now they're super rare and valuable; those will never happen again either. |

| I bought one and I’m very grateful to AU for bringing them back. I confirmed with AU the title 1 lowers are manufactured and sold as receivers, not a rifle. So a pistol build is an option although I will probably just end up doing a form 1. Plan to set mine up with the 6943 upper. |

Tried to order one. Can't get past the shipping page. Can't get the continue button to light up no matter what address I enter. Selected my FFL it puts some of their info in the ship to address. Enter all of their address or all of mine and no luck. WTF. Edit: Got it to work. What a pain in the ass! AU: please stop getting good Colt stuff!

I was fortunate enough to buy 2 of the original M4 Commando lowers when AU released them 7 years ago. Unfortunately, I sold them and wish I kept both. Anyways, as someone mentioned before, I find it interesting BOTACH is also selling these lowers on their website and reference AU. I wonder what their relationship is. Either way, depending how many lowers they make, these lower will retain a premium. You have Colt still producing the “U.S. Property” marked lowers with CR serial prefixes and they sell for close to $900+. If they produced the same amount of lowers like the last run, these will be, without a doubt, collectible. I just wish they weren’t so expensive. |

Also, on the complete rifle, if it does have selector stops can you confirm the pic is correct in that this run has the older .625 journals under the gas block? |
