If your that concerned you might want to go back and remove or alter that picture. |

Re: The "CR6920-EC" marking on the box... "Arms Unlimited is selling Colt CR6920-EC carbines. These are Colt carbines that are built to be compliant with European CIP compliance requirements. CIP is similar to the U.S. SAAMI organization. These carbines are unique for the U.S. collectors market due to the following features: 1. Chambered in .223 (verified with the factory) 2. Serial numbered lower receiver AND upper receiver 3. Serial numbered bolt carrier 4. Serial numbered bolt 5. Serial numbered barrel" Taken from the following thread with pics of the CR6920-EC: https://www.coltforum.com/threads/colt-cr6920-eu-european-carbine.402271/ Does your rifle have matching serial #'s all over it? Including a serial #'d .223 BCG? . |
| Regardless of what the box says, I don't think that's a LE6920-EC. My two have additional serial numbers on the upper receiver just above the markings on the lower receiver. OP, does the serial number on the box match the serial number on the lower receiver? If so, did you hide the serial number on the upper receiver as well? |

Do you have a link for where you bought it? I hope you didn't pay a premium for it cause I think you got some kind of mutt... There is a Colt branded 22LR M4 clone out there but it's made by Walther under license and has a 1/14 twist barrel. Walther makes 22LR copies of many popular rifles including the HK MP5, HK 416, Uzi and Colt M4. A 1/7 twist barrel is not the best choice for a .22. If I were you I'd just buy a standard Colt 5.56mm BCG for it and be done. . |

You're overlooking exactly why they made a semi auto in ''.22rf'' with a detachable mag but that will take 5.56 ammunition, mags, and a BCG without any mods and shoot exactly like a centerfire semi auto M4. [it's because semi auto, detachable mag .22rf's are allowed in places a detachable centerfire semi auto rifle/carbine are illegal] |
Liberals are a curious mix of communism and fascism, they want to destroy you but want to use your own money to do it.

AU has a track record for creating all sorts of non-factory configurations. The only logical explanation that I have at this point is that AU swapped out the 6920-EC upper for a regular 6920 upper. |

OP are you actually in CA or another ban state? Was there a specific reason you purchased this exact configuration ? |

I collect firearms in 22lr and thought I'd add this to the collection. It will probably never be fired unless my grandkids want to shoot it. |

Cool as long as you know what you got and you’re satisfied that’s what matters. Honestly the only reason I got into this thread was to make sure OP wasn’t sold something under false pretenses because the rifle’s configuration and box markings didn’t make any sense to me. I understand why they would make that setup for CA but as I said OP’s in GA so again that was also… weird. Once I saw it was put out by AU then yeah all bets are off… They’re always cobbling together Colt parts to get things out the door. I’m a die-hard Colt carbine fan so I guess another Colt out there is always good!!! 🤘 . |

I am speculating that AU somehow got the EC spec rifles from Colt before they were marked CIP compliant. Like you said, it’s AU, who knows what they did. |

Like you said, it’s AU, who knows what they did. Probably some leftovers from the European batch.. Since the interest in 223 chambering for the average US user is limited..it was the perfect candidate for a .22lr project |
