I have been wanting to have a few ACR kits that are 100% correct using a mix of original and repro parts. I partnered with a company that is 3D scanning and printing handguards and grips as well as taking scans of the FSB and barrel sleeve. The kits will be using original stocks, buffer tubes and barrels. One of the last things I need are the uppers. I had a quote from a company who could do it but they are a minimum of 20 uppers and high costs so just doesn’t make sense. The uppers are normal m4 uppers, just with a different rail cut on the top. Unfortunately, the only help I could be on this project would be to machine the cutouts if you could find an upper that had the standard m4 cutout operation skipped. I’ve asked a couple people about that aspect and apparently the rail is one of the first processes |

Update on the project. The company is almost done scanning and just need to complete the handguard and update the grip slightly They will ship eveyrhitn to me for fitting and any changes Still need to have a source for uppers if anyone knows Attached File Attached File |
