hey colt heads The recent small arms solutions video essentially confirmed my suspicions that my grail rifle exists. It's a colt 6520 with restricted markings on the right side and small trigger pins. 2010-2011 is when these were supposedly made. I came across what i believe to be one on gunbroker but its been sold. I'm just here to ask you guys if anyone has a 6520 from this era, can they confirm these exist? If you do own one, can you share the serial number range so I can know what to look for? Also if anyones trying to offload one let me know. thanks guys |
| I bought a new old stock condition 6520 (I think…been a while since I researched) made in 2012-2013 sometime. It was during the Trump slump when I got it, and I got it dirt cheap. I think they did a run with a few leftover parts they had laying around. What’s interesting is a handful of them including mine doesn’t have restricted markings. Small trigger pins. M4 handguards (kind weird looking)…still haven’t shot it. |

Just going from memory, the serial-number range of the end of production of the 6520-era was around 53,000 or so. Sorry, I have no pictures. These were just as the gentleman stated above, "Blue-label" boxed as the AR6520 with the 20rd Colt 20rd mags, cleaning-kit/sling ect. |
