I bought this rail within the last couple of months and it has started to turn white or ashy and feels rough. I originally emailed support at Midwest and was told it is normal and would go away with oil. I oiled it repeatedly and the problem returns within a day. I have plenty of other hard coat rails and other Midwest rails and none do this or look like this. It actually looks worse in person as opposed to pictures. Can you assist? ETA: Excellent customer service. Replacement handguard shipped quickly and is the normal great Midwest quality. |

Typically white on hard coat anodize is just a very dry condition . That’s why we recommended you to oil the part. You should have reached back out to CS and we will do a exchange. We typically do not handle CS on forums . Email me and I will help you arrange a exchange . Troy [email protected] |
