Barrel loose in upper

Hello I just want to make sure this is normal. I just bought a 12" 6.5 grendel Match series. While most other barrels i tried were somewhat tight when pressed into the upper, this one is loose. It was this way with 2 or 3 Brands of uppers. Always thought the tighter the better. Is this a problem of can I work around this.

Actually I went back to the dealer and they swapped it out. The first would just slide right out of any upper there, the second would be a press fit in any of the same uppers. It would not even start into the upper. We will try this one and go from there.
