I know this is an old post but I just wanted to add that I just recently replaced the buffer tube on my banshee 300 and whatever trained gorilla CMMG has installing the castle nut should get a raise. I have removed well staked castle nuts with less force. I finally got it off but there was a moment I was considering breaking out the dremel and cutting the castle nut off. |
