Bought a set of the Combat Rifle Sights 2 years ago. Put them on an LWRC and they were never even sighted in or shot. I was swapping them today to a LaRue, and the screw head on the front sight broke. I didnt even notice it until after it was off, and I was going to mount it to the new rifle. Posted here circa 2020.. Thanks for the tags guys and bringing this to our attention. We did have a batch of screws in the beginning that were over hard, which means the initial sights should have been purchased a year or more ago. The issue was if a bit that was too narrow for the slot was used the head could crack. If a tight fitting driver bit was used the screws would not crack. If you called and got replacement screws there is no way those also fractured, unless you are using a very narrow bit that just contacts the very outside corners of the screw flats. Please send me an email at [email protected] so I can pull three whole new sets of sights and get them set out your way. I don’t want you to have to worry about something like cracking screws in the future. If you or anyone you shoot with ever has any questions or concerns about our products please let me know.
