The BM59 Rifle was conceived and developed in the late 1950's to replace the M1 Garand for the Italian military. The rifles are chambered for NATO-standard 7.62 51mm rounds and fed by a BM-59 20-round mag. James River now offers a rifle that looks as they did when they were turned in by Italian Army troops over 40 years ago. |
