| I recently bought a BCM BFH barrel (on a BCM factory Mk2 upper) and its properly marked as such. While looking at the muzzle and chamber, it doesn't have an obvious chrome appearance, like my FN barrels have. I can look at the FN's and see a line (not super distinct, but still obvious) between the chrome lining and bare steel. The BFH doesn't have this, though the chamber throat does have that appearance (shiny-ish). Anyone else experience this with a BFH? Want to make sure mine didn't receive a skimpy chrome job. Maybe different companies have different shades of chrome. Thanks! |
| I think I'm just used to looking at AKs and my mind started playing tricks on me. Was cleaning the bore and chamber today and both are bright and shiny. I just didn't see any spillover outside of the chamber or bore, like you see with some barrels. Everything on the upper is freaking fantastic so far, so I know there's no worry about the barrel. Can't wait to confirm its a shooter, though. I'm healing up from surgery, so haven't shot it yet...and its Driving me nuts. |
