Any idea of when and where they will become available?
I see complete uppers with them. Thanks. |

Not sure on uppers, but I have a complete rifle with a MK2 upper en route and due for delivery this Thursday.
It's a 750-750-BFH-ELW-MK2-SOPMOD BCM RECCE-16 MCMR-15 MLOK |
they need to make their mind up soon. cuz its between the mk2 and MUR upper for my 11.5 build. id like to go mk2 cuz its $50 less...
I really want to try one of these.
As a lefty I have been building everything of mine with slick side uppers as the FA is a PITA ergonomics wise. This would put it in the right place to make it a non issue for us wrong handers. |

Until AR-15 demand cools off, I highly doubt we'll see stripped mk2 uppers available anytime soon.
They said demand is too high right now, everything they make is going to complete uppers.

Bought a MK2 14.5 complete BCM upper, LEGIT!
Has anyone used these suppressed yet? Do they work as advertised in terms of mitigating gas to the face?
Bueller, Bueller? Anyone? I have a spare lower in need of a new upper.

Are these ever in stock on their website? I've had my e-mail in for the notification for several months and never heard anything. Looking for a 14.5.

Also check in with Rainier Arms from time to time, they seem to get them.
Love my 11.5 mk2 |

Do a run of them they will sell! |

But I'd buy a padded one if they made more. I was really late to the gray party. I'm too poor to afford the sights he's using. |

Any updates? I’d love to get a MK2 stripped upper receiver.

I do find it interesting that BCM "can't" ( or whatever ) find a forge to turn out the Mk 2's.
Given the demand, I would think they could sell quite few. IMHO, the Mk 2 offers enough improvements over a "regular" forged upper , that they would sell like hotcakes. I mean who won't want more potential accuracy ! And the forward assist being out of the way is a huge bonus as well. @BravoCompanyUSA .... please, could you all shed some light on the Mk 2 production status ? Respectfully, A loyal customer. |

I was told all Mk2 receiver production has been going toward completed upper receivers. But I also saw a source that said that BCM was retooling the Mk2 to accommodate other rail systems. Could plausibly be a bit of both...dunno

I’ve also heard that the Mk2 is being updated to fit more third party parts. All current upper receivers are being used for complete uppers.

Makes me forget all about the stripped MK2 upper I have been waiting for. |

Any updates on when stripped uppers will be back?

I've recently been debating whether to sell my BCM MK2 Reece-14 build, which I bought back in December 2019 (same month that the MK2 was launched), but now that BCM seems to have stopped producing the MK2 uppers, I think I'm gonna hold on to it, at least for now.
Although the issues with fitting certain rails (namely, Geissele and Daniel Defense) to the MK2 are well-documented, I'm skeptical that this is the reason that they're not being produced. Even if that's a known issue, it's not a reason to discontinue or halt production, and I imagine that the vast majority of people who buy BCM uppers buy them to have a full BCM URG, not to stick another OEM's rail and barrel on them. I suspect that there's simply an issue with the forge from which BCM was sourcing production. |

It appears that BCM has quietly resumed production of the MK2 URGs. As I write this, three of their MK2 URGs (the 14.5" BFH MCMR-13, the 14.5" BFH KMR-A13, and the 16" BFH KMR-A15) are listed as in stock:
https://bravocompanyusa.com/ar15-upper-receiver-groups/?_bc_fsnf=1&Upper+Receiver=MK2&in_stock=1 EDIT 7-25-22: Correction, make that four URGs - the 16" BFH MCMR-15 is also now in stock. All four of these have the ELF profile barrels. |

Good news I guess. Saw a stripped one for sale in EE of anyone wants to make their wallet cry.

I’m stoked to see them coming back but they need to start making the 11.5s now.

I would disagree that most people buy stripped uppers with the intent of sticking with BCM stuff to stick on it. Personally, I exclusively use BCM uppers because they are the only ones that offer thermal fit barrel install.
