I just received several BAD ASS/CASS safeties directly from your website, but unlike my other BAD CASS or pics on the website, the centers are brass in color.
Is this some type of coating? Thanks |

Mystery solved
It appears to be Zirconium nitride coating. Looks like the CASS I bought a few months ago from a dealer must have been NOS before the coating became standard. Can you confirm? |

| We are doing a product wide upgrade to ZrN / TiN PVD Coating at no cost increase to the end user. It is our continual product improvement program. It costs many times more than phosphate but we think it is a better finish and will help improve the lubricity, corrosion resistance and the buttery feel of the safety. |
