A little hint on the bolt catch.

We designed our own, but it was going to be too expensive, nobody would buy it.  We looked and found suitable, off the shelf components, and decided on one made by a company you'll instantly recognize.

I've always thought the top paddle of the bolt release is big enough for the job, and small enough to be out of the way, it's fine as is.  The bottom of the bolt catch looks like a heel of a boot, and is small and not as easy to get to as it should.

But the factory bolt factory is acceptable.  Now throw in a Norgon Ambi-Catch, the shortcomings of the boot heel shaped bottom paddle are far more apparent.  The Norgon Ambi-Catch sticks out a little further than the factory mag catch.  When it's on a receiver, it makes accessing the bottom bolt catch paddle even more difficult, especially when wearing gloves.

The bolt catch we'll be carrying addresses this issue.  With or without a Norgon Ambi-Catch, it's a worthy upgrade, it's far more ergonomically correct.  Any time your finger has to search for a button or paddle because it's too small, or in a place that's difficult to find and access, there's a human interface design problem.
