I have a 6.5 Grendel project in mind. . . The B.A. Hanson 12.5 is calling to me. According to TNVC's product page, the 240F-M60 is 4.37" long. So, If I am doing my math right, take a 12.5" barrel, subtract the 0.625" for the threads, and add the 4.37" for the flash hider, and you get 16.245". Has anyone ever done this? Is that flash hider actually 4.37"? |

| Looks like the 240F is about 3.9" OAL (eyeballing it with a ruler.) That'd be an added 3.275" putting you at 15.775" without shims. After shimming you'd have a lot of space between the muzzle crown and the back of the FH, which would probably end up defeating the purpose of a flash hider. Sorry about that disappointment :/ |

it looks like larue is coming out with some extended muzzle brakes to fit their new suurg barrels. it allows for their new suppressor to slide over the muzzle device to allow a 16" length when pinned and welded then the suppressor slides over it to allow a shorter overall gun when suppressed.
