I have the Teslong Flex bore scope and I think it's great other than not having a orientational reference as you work it through the bore. I also have the Hawkeye bore scope and the quality is phenomenal. The problem is, there is no easy or inexpensive way that I have found to capture the images through the scope. They sold a digital camera, but it cost an arm and a leg. I think I paid somewhere around $600 for the borescope kit alone. I ordered the rigid kit from Amazon for $70. With the mirrors you never have to worry about gas port alignment ever again! |

Got the Teslong. Looks like a good piece of kit. I was working on a Ruger Mk III when it came yesterday. Here is a shot of the bolt face and chamber taken from the bore: Attached File |

In fact, I ordered the 10" bore scope also ($40), as well as a 4 pack of 90 degree mirrors that have different ODs ($20) so they hold the center of the bore better for focusing. They are 5mm, 7mm, 8.3mm and 12mm diameters. I figure the 10" will be more handy on pistols and the like. I got 30% off on the mirrors because I ordered the borescope at the same time. Just received my 10" and 26" rigid borescopes from Teslong. I also ordered the set of 4 mirrors. Very easy to setup and use. Can't wait to use the 26" to check my gas port alignments on my rifles. Tested the 10" with my 9mm KKM Barrel for my Glock 19 using the 9mm mirror.

I have your flexible borescope. I’m amazed by what I can see inside my barrels with it! I took a look at a pistol barrel to see how steeply the rifling started. I thought I’d cleaned that barrel thoroughly, but WOW was I wrong. However, the borescope also let me verify after a second cleaning that I got it right that time. I agree that it’s a little challenging to keep the flexible scope oriented, but with some practice I got the hang of it. I have taken pictures of gas ports with it pretty easily. |

Have you tried the 4-mirror accessory set?
