Impact 4000 got leaked on another website, was wondering if it would eventually come with Applied Ballistics. Will there be any future offering with Applied Ballistics or not for the foreseeable future? |

My follow up questions are - Does GeoBallistics have doppler radar drag models in their bullet library? I downloaded it and I see some bullets are identified as (Litz) and some as (multi BC) but is that Litz obtained G7 BC or is it doppler radar CDMs? The website and manual doesn't say (at least I can't find the answer). |

The Litz numbers are BC values that Applied Ballistics gives after shooting bullets over doppler, however that is very different than a CDM as the CDM's that AB uses are not just a G7 or G1 BC value, they model the flight of the bullet and use that model instead of a BC value. Multi BC values are values that have been entered at a few different velocities as BC will vary depending on velocity, Sierra traditionally has given multiple BC values for different muzzle velocities and that would be where the multi BC comes from. |
