PSA got me w/ one of their recent ads.  Ordered a lower and a bolt. Ordered a 7.5" upper from Gorilla machining. Ordered a 10 oz buffer and an extra power spring from Joe Bob. I've got a LPK and buffer tube/brace to go on it. Will probably need a small part or two but that should cover parts and if they work it's pretty cheap. Now I'm waiting on parts and wondering if it's a tinker special because they're hard to get running or if it's because they just don't want to support it w/ idiots building. Anyone put one of these together?

I've got most of the basic parts. Picked up a cheap upper. Got a LPK. Have the lower and bolt from PSA. Have a brace and receiver extension for it. Have a pistol buffer and a spring for it. Still need a charging handle but that's easy if I'm to that point. Have books I'm working on, a youtube channel to start up, and android apps I'm working on. Gun stuff is a low priority in the hours I'm not sleeping or working. It'll happen but it's not fast. |

I have a .45 CMMG Dissent that uses Glock mags that is one of my favorite guns especially with a Rugged Obsidian .45 installed. Only drawback is no Glock brand high cap mags. The high cap mags from other manufacturers have been less than reliable so far. |

Only a few test fires in the back yard for mine but so far no tinkering, runs just fine on 230g fmj. PSA lower and bolt they had on sale (they got me too). Slick side upper from AR discounts, Bear Creek Arsenal 7.5 inch barrel. The rest is spare parts I had laying around, h3 buffer and standard spring, mil spec lower parts kit, pistol brace etc. Still need to take it to the range for a thorough test session but it's too dang hot right now. |

| They have issues but it is in the neighborhood of 2 or 3 per hundred rounds....and a lot of it can come from the bolt riding over the rim of the case cause Glock mags gonna Glock sometimes....They can be improved if you are capable and have a mill.....Mag is too close to vertical....needs to be laid back a little.....I have one of each model they have and did significant development work on them when Gabe was CEO....in the end I just think they didnt want the hassle of doing the mods.... |

they got me too with the sale on the lower and bolt. Im slower than yall though as i havent even looked for the upper parts or anything else yet... i'll get around to it i figure soon enough. i am interested in your builds though, and how they run, so it will hopefully make my build much more troublefree. |

| It went together without issues other than tiny detents and springs hard to see with old eyes....and i didnt have a bolt hold open. Put an A1 stock on it since i had one laying around. Fed from a glock 10 round mag (G30?) and fed the snap caps without issue. How easy is it to find the heavy weights to fit into the standard buffer assembly? |

Built a 7.5" with the tinker lower and the PSA bolt. Since I like iron sights and presma handguards, I set it up like the rest of my 7.5"s. I did get an adapter for the barrel and reamed out a stainless steel flash hider to dressss it up a little. Attached File Sorry for the shitty picture, but that the best I can do with my flip phone. So far 250 cast and jacketed reloads through it with no problems. It's minute of can or dirt clod at 25 yards which is okay by me. |

| Finally made it to the range with this frankenstien looking contraption. Put a cheap dot sight on it, put 15 rounds through it without issue. Has a K&M tactical 16" upper on it, A1 stock. Last round did not completely go into battery, but it was some cheap reloads so think that is more the issue. Hit little low at 25 yards, but all stayed on the paper on a standard printed target from my printer Will clean and inspect it better tomorrow. Need to get more than the ten round glock 30 mag for it now. Did seem to kick more than i thought it should however, might need to add weights to the standard rifle buffer. |
