I was asked by multiple people at SHOT show to do a run of Gen 3 SOCOM stocks. I'm considering making a run of 500 pieces but I am proposing to make a change to the tube and only have 4 stops instead of 5 like the original. The first and last would be in the same position, but there would be more material between the stops to help prevent the rounding issue we had with that generation locking mechanism. This would also make these discernable from the original stocks to prevent misrepresentation. The only thing that I cannot reproduce is the original buttpad, we made a new mold a couple of years ago while the old one was on it's last leg. The new pads have a different pattern on the back, are made from a slightly different material than the original, but same overall profile. Those would run around $240 for the buttstock with gusset, foam, new buttpad, and screw pack. Let me know if you're interested. I’d def be in for one if so. +1 I've been selling off my spare stuff lately but I'd mothball my last original stock and happily use a repro of a square latch stock. |

I did mean the square locking version, not the round lock like the first and second generation. I wasn't paying attention and on my cheat sheet with the different generations, Gen 3 was on top. If we go into production on these, I'll be looking at 8-10 weeks before they're ready. Thanks, Jesse

Anyone looking for Gen 3 SOCOM stock gussets? I was going through some shelves and ran across a bin of SOCOM gussets. These are new, but have been stored loose in a bin and have a slight "tumbled" look as shown. They should clean up well, but will probably have a few minor scratches or dings. If anyone is interested, message me, they'll be $25 each. These will work on the Gen 3 or 4 SOCOM stocks. These will show up as pictured, with the tension screw included, nothing else. These are being sold as used, so they will have some "character" to them. Thanks, Jesse |

We are going to make a couple of changes to make them distinguishable from the originals. Functionally, we're going to change from a 5 position stock to a 4 (open, closed, and two middle positions), this will increase the amount of material between the stops to reduce the issues we had with the locking mechanism rounding off the stops in the tube.
