Used your contact us last week on your website but never received a reply. I recently purchased a gen 2 ak scope mount - mini acog. At what should be the ideal tightness, the mount can slide back and forth about a 1/4" on the side rail. The next notch in adjustment and the mount slides about an 1/8". The mount locks solid after tightening the screw one more notch but now it is so tight I have to use a flat head to unlock the lever. I really don't want to mess with anything now that I have everything loctited, mounted, and zeroed. My question is are there any long term issues with having the mount so tight on the rail? I know the instructions stated to have the mount at the lowest tension that locks the mount up. |

Do not crank it down there is no need to do so. If you pry on it and break the lever we won’t warranty it please read the instructions .The mounts will hold and return to zero as per the instructions long term. Thanks Troy MI |
