| So, can one swap out barrels or something to make a "regular" 6920 to a SOCOM? I know, very basic question, but I do like the SOCOM over the 6920. |

The lower markings are what made the socoms special. If that doesn’t matter to you, it’s basically just a barrel and safety swap, add the rail and buis and you are there. Better way to go would be to get a take off upper on the EE and sell the 6920 upper. |

The Socom II version used a DD rail. The later US prop marked socom rifles used the KAC and I believe some had a P&S rail on them. The 2017 version I think only got a KAC rail but I’m not positive if it shipped with anything else or not. |
