Picked up a MK111 MOD 2-M PISTOL in 223 Wylde made by PWS.
I plan to run it suppressed. Found a recessed 51T mount in the bin. Does AAC recommend a flush mount or can I mount the recessed mount? Thanks. |

I'd recommend saving that deep socket hider for a situation with more unobstructed barrel. I looked at the print, and that hider swallows .31" (~5/16) of barrel behind the shoulder. There's plenty of clearance inside (it's sized to swallow .31" of Ø.750 barrel) but I'm afraid it would put the toothed gear too close to the handguard, and you would wind up with a clearance issue when you mounted a can to it.
