I know some have asked about this before, but is there a way to order an 20" Stealth Barrel without the 3 dimples on the bottom for the set screw gas block? This would be for people who plan on pinning an A2 front sight to their barrel. |

I've got a very special project in mind, but it would be nice not to have the three dimples between the taper pins.
The Stealth 16" DMR upper comes with an A2 sight. Granted, it is a 16" barrel, but can any DMR owners chime in to let us know if the barrels are smooth between the taper pins? |

| I read a thread awhile back where someone drilled out and tapped the hole on the bottom of an FSB that is used to drill the gas port so a set screw could be used with a dimple. That should secure it enough to drill another hole for another set screw and dimple. |

That may work, but what I'm talking about is a smooth barrel without dimples so that a taper pins GB can be installed. |

I'll look for the company (cant think of it right now) but I have a 20" stealth and ended up going with a "clamp on" A2 post. Put about 1000 rounds through the rifle so far and no issues
