Dear Colt, Please consider using the classic vertical slide serrations, in particular the Combat Commanders 9mm and 45ACP. The new style ones just don't look good to me :) And also please make a classic government in 9mm blued and stainless too. Thx! |

And here she is, and well done Colts, it's pretty nicely made. Slide doesn't rattle, edges not too sharp. Everything seems to click smoothly. I'm sure a purist would find fault, but it seems as nice as my MKIV (IIRC) that I had back in the day. Added some grips from my 1983 GC NM. MY only complaint is that, it would be nice if they added three dot sights or something to that effect to help those of us who are not as sharp eyed as we were in the 80's. Will do a 'state trooper' trigger job and get some down range time soon. Again, well done Colts ! This one's a keeper.Attached File |
