I currently have this barrel and in the process of doing a 16” build.
Faxon 16” 9mm Barrel Does this barrel have a short throat? If it does would it be worth it to send it out and opened up? It will be going onto my dedicated 9mm DDLES lower which is colt style. Thanks for any and all advise. @RogueNathan |

The throats on our 9mm barrels meet SAAMI spec. What we are learning is that many bullet manufacturers are making projectiles that fall outside of that spec. We are working on having customer chamber reamers made to alleviate the issues that some reloaders are seeing. If you're shooting primarily factory ammo you shouldn't have any issues, but if you do run into issues we're happy to help! |
