for those of you with the Daniel Defense "contract over runs" that PSA blew out a few months back, what buffer weight are you running with them? I know DD had 0.082 gas ports way back in the day, but dialed them in to a much more manageable 0.070 a few years back, but was curious how people with the contract over run 11.5's were doing for buffer weights. the Daniel Defense lower I picked up has an H buffer in it, but I was curious if these guns needed an H2 or not.

H1s work just fine, but I've found an H2 to be a just a tad bit better...especially when shooting suppressed. |

I won't be shooting suppressed, but I'll grab a couple of H2 buffers from Sionics when I'm on their side of town this week, then and start with those. they'll be with the factory Daniel Defense lowers from PSA that come with your H buffers. I was pretty sure an H2 was a good place to start as that's what most 10.3-11.5 uppers like, but I just wanted to confirm a starting point to test out with before I went toe the range |
