| Just received my 1-4x 24 tactical classic ss. I really liked the ranging reticle so when the black Friday deal came out I had to get one. I know these are more on the value end of the scale but my initial impressions of this scope are really high. It seems better than I was expecting. The eye relief and eye box work great for me,very fast and spot on when I shoulder the rifle. and in my initial checks after mounting, the usefulness of both eyes open on 1x is way better than I had hoped (this is my first 1x scope). The turret clicks seems adequately positive and overall it feels pretty solid. Not having shot with it yet, it certainly seems like a great value for the money. |
I've had an SWFA 1-4x SS for a few years. While it's a little dated in terms of features, I wouldn't call it obsolete. It's ROCK solid reliable, and I REALLY like the Diamond reticle. Right now the scope is on my wife's 16" Carbine, as it gives her a little more capability while still keeping the weight low (around 7 lbs). With a 50/200 yard zero, she can use the top of the diamond as POA for 100 yards, the center for 200, and the bottom for 300. Keeps things simple & fun!
