MSRP $2700... I bet it will sell for more in the first few months then level off lower - hopefully no more than $2000-$2200.
Spooky |

Higher than what anyone wants either way... But I can't think of a gun that is essentially covered in Magpul gear, has a piston system, and has a barrel swap system that is less than that either. Hell my KAC SR15E3 cost $2000. Spooky |

I bet there will be one for sale on Gunbroker for over $5000 when it becomes available |

A fool and his money are easily/soon parted... Not sure about this yet. I was very excited but now need more solid information. Right now my priority is going to be an LMT MWS in 7.62 then either an ACR or SCAR. Spooky |
|
Awesome......$2700 for what is essentially a BushMaster rifle. Wow, talk about underwhelmed.
ETA: Hopefully it will force down the price of a SCAR |
|
Insane.
I love how they make a point of using CHF barrels...and then make them 1/9. It would have to be a grand less for me to be interested. |

Keep it. +1 F*ck that I rather get another Colt 6920, or a LMT and have money to spare for ammo. I will never pay out of my pocket for a 1/9 twist barrel. |

So what is this the 7th or 8th different price? Im still waiting until Shot to either be happy or not.

Well, this new MSRP did come from Lionhart, the community's most reliable source of information, so it must be true. [/sarcasm]

I would hold off until official word get released. This not what we have been told the base model price was going to be.

I would hold off until official word get released. This not what we have been told the base model price was going to be. A few months back I posted that BM quoted me an MSRP of $2400.00 Today it's at $2700.00. Pre-orders between $2500.00-$3000.00 from DSG. I would think that from what has been posted within the last few days that these rifles will exceed $2000.00. Where exactly, well I don't know, other than what I was told today by Bushmaster, FWIW. |

Will post as soon as i find out in the morning . Headed to the airport now.

Dude, if I was the BM customer service flunkies you've been bothering about this the last six months, I'd be making up numbers from thin air or throwing darts at a board or something. This time tomorrow, it's all over but the crying. No point in crying before time, whatever the result may be. Thanks for stepping in, Rich. |

I wouldn't necessarily say that two emails to BM in the last several months constitutes bothering. But thanks for your unsubstantiated assumptions... Could BM be incorrect as to the actual price? Perhaps, but it's the price that BM quoted today. |
|
Nothing BM makes is worth 2000 bucks. I do not care what they come out with (even if it is a phased plasma rifle in the 40 watt range). Everything I ever owned from BH was shit, and I traded it in to cut my losses. A 1/9 twist on a rifle over 2000 bucks? F*ck that!!!!!!!!!!!!

i was told the dealer cost on the remington acr with the rails/folding stock was $2040
why would the bushmaster be so much higher.. maybe unforseen costs? |
|
Quoted: Quoted: Msrp around 2700.00 Keep it. Not going to sell too many at that price. If people would hold into their money they wouldnt sell any and the price would have to drop, but it wont happen. |

I haven't been keeping up with the ACR, are we stuck with the bushmaster one or get we get the Remington version?

Why in the world would Bushmaster price this rifle that cheap??? It seems to me that they can price it right around the FN Scar and clean up, as it is a fairly innovative weapons system... My guess is that it will end up being right around $2k, and will still sell like crazy... |

If 1.5K-1.6K or below, I will sell all and convert. |

Basic version: $2685 MSRP (released in March). Enhanced version: $3068 MSRP (released in May). What the hell, I'm in... |

I'll save my or for official word tomorrow, but as of now I am very fearful...

You know all this time I've had my excitement up. I've been waiting for this thing for a long time. Like if they had a stack of them at SHOT and were selling them for $1500 I would buy one on the spot (we can dream can't we?) $1700 I would even do. $2000? Probably not. $2700? No way in hell. I just payed less than that for an OBR! That being said I'm holding off until midnight tonight to see what it actually is. I'm not going to make any decisions based on rumors. Only 11 more hours to go!

WOW!
I guess I will make do with my rifle that does everything the ACR will do for now. |
|
Quoted: Msrp around 2700.00 Keep it. No doubt. I'm not stupid enough to pay that, but I'm sure others are. If Bushmaster can sell them at $2700 a pop, more power to them. |

I do sincerely hope that the price isn't the high dollar craziness that's been tossed around lately. After a couple nights sleeping on it, I can get over the 1:9 initial barrel offering, but the prices being given lately are something I can't get over without some serious windfall cash. I'll try to keep from dwelling on rumors either way and just wait and see. |
