I was debating going to shot show this year. I might have to just to see the pile at the LaRue booth in person (and take a couple of strolls past the other "pile" (can you actually make a pile from nothing?). They should buy me dinner for putting some serious traffic into that booth this year. |

Hell their sales are probably gonna go up from folks buying ARMS and breaking them for a free LaRue...damn right they should be buying dinner. |

If we were to break an ARMS bipod mount, could we send it in in return for this?

Mark,
I have a ARMS-M16 A1A2 carry handle mount. I will never use it. I know that LaRue does not have a similar piece of kit. I don't expect anything in return. I will send it to you just to add to the pile. Should I get to shipping? JSteih |
|
I will not support the dick by purchasing an ARMS mount. If I happen to find one used, that's another story.
I think mfingar should make a poster for this epic event! a boxing/fight theme would be cool ! |
|
I know they don't have any throw-levers,
BUT, I'm HAPPY to try and break my 40-L BUIS and my #18 MiA scope mount- What are the odds I could get something from LT in trade???? |

Mark you talking a broken lever or complete destruction? Destruction is fine ... but broken lever is a must. |

BTW Mark, I tried some Tillen pickled asparagus today..........That shit is GOOD! It is $7 a jar here though.
Also if you need a hand with anything at the shot show, I would be more than happy to assit you with whatever grunt work needs done. I live close to Vegas and can pay my own way in I would love to see such an event and the look on swans face when he sees your pile then looks at his. The ARMS lever broke very easily. I would image it would take a tank to do domething to yours. I should have made my pics a little more up beat but I am deep in my final college work. Thanks again! |

Damn...I can't play! I bought the good stuff the first time! Oh and there is no way in HELL that I am going to break it to get a ARMS mount. This for me! |

Any special hanlding/shipping instructions? I'm gonna break some throw levers tonight and get it in the mail on Monday. I'll let you folks at Larue figure the best replacement unit.

what's an arms 17 used for? Flashlight mount, I do believe. |

Hi Mark, great opportunity here. My ARMS 17 sucks. It slides forward and back on the rail of my M4gery after being "locked" down, so I don't mind trashing it. One quick question though. I've got the identical set up as The_AR_Guy above. It's an ARMS 17 base with the cantilever spacer and ARMS Comp II M68 rings. After I trash the lever do you want me to include the entire set up in my carton to you, or just the lever and the base? Will it be replaced with the LaRue Tactical Cantilever CompM2 LT-129 or just the base with the LaRue Tactical 17S Upgrade LT-171. I've got your Hensoldt Po' Boy Special and swing away mount behind my Aimpoint and need the cantilever to move the glass forward. Just want to be certain. Thanks. Great deal here!!!!

If i bust an avian flu swan rear sight can I trade it for a Troy? Nope, the #17 suit has nothing to do with iron sights ... although having the one sometimes begets the need for the other. Had to ask before I kill the thing. We should leave a severed swan head in Dick's bed |

I would love to break them off an Elcan Specter DR if you only made a replacement! Please......
|
|
Man! I love this offer, the idea behind it (grab all the market share that you can), and your attitude towards this bull shit lawsuit!
I hope LT owns a semi, because you'll need it to haul all of these ARMS products to ShotShow Can't wait to see what your booth will look like!!! |

Haha, great offer.
I will stop by your booth at shot for sure. I need to stock up my store anyway but need to thank you for this and the Calguns donation :) |
|
So let me get this straight, if I take the original ARMS mount that I bought with my Aimpoint Comp M2 and break the lever off, I can upgrade to a Larue mount for FREE just by sending it in?
If so, consider it done, my one and only ARMS mount gone and my other Larue mounts will have a new friend... |

I applaud what you are doing...
Here is what I have... forgive me, I know I have sinned... I am a more of a bolt rifle shooter than AR, due to CA suck ass laws ( btw ty for the Cal Guns Support ) ... This is too generous man. I'm gonna start unbolting that crap tomorrow and send it to you. My fiance' has a LaRue box under the tree for me right now. She hinted at buying me another of your rails for my latest 6920. (Needed to know what length I wanted) She also said she has a surprise in there too. Does Mark give out hints ? I can't get a peep out of her. |

Remember, pics before and after . I was thinking before, snap off lever, then flatten it with high explosives (put it between two steel plates, then fire the HE on top to embed it in there). Shipping may be a little more. Of course, the cost of the witness plates + shipping + gas + HE probably exceeds the cost to just BUY the LaRue gear - but wtf, o, only live once. LMK. Earliest I could do this would be the 19th. |

Mr. LaRue,
I would love to replace a set of A.R.M.S.® #22™ Throw Lever® Rings I have on my AR-10T. Does this offer apply ? Thank you in advance, Steve |
|
Epic thread.
In other news, A.R.M.S. mounts have become impossible to find on the used market. |
|
|
This thread is chalk full of WIN!! And in my humble opinion this thread is as good as its ever gonna get on AR15.com!!!!!!!! ML FTW!!!!!

Hope you didn't ship this out yet. Looks like you need to do a little more hammering on that lever. Not as nice a break as many others: http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f238/Stevie-ca/SF.jpg http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f238/Stevie-ca/SFB.jpg Are you replacing rails from broken rail mounts from SIR 51C's? If I break the levers off my Specter DR will you machine me a new mount.....
|
|
I feel like a real loser. I researched QD mounts on ARFCOM, took everyone's advice and bought Larue. Keep up the good work Mark! |
|
how about I snap my ARMS 40 BUIS in half? that little square bolt that goes between the rails seems pretty cheap to me.
I think i have some QD ARMS mounts as well that are going to get ass whipped by my dillo! off to the safe to see what I can break! |
