| I am looking to have an ar upper built in .204 Ruger with a 14"-16" barrel. I am basically looking to get 3400-3600 fps out of this setup. I previously posted this in the AR variants section, but no one had any experience with .204 out of shorter barrels. I was told to post this in this section because AA had done testing with .204 in short barrels. I went ahead and ordered a 14" barrel for my Encore pistol to experiment. I plan to use my John's Guns 5.56mm suppressor to help tame the massive fireball that everyone says will result. I will chrono this setup and post the results. |
