MODS!: THIS IS NOT A FOR SALE THREAD, JSUT A THREAD TO GAUGE WHETHER OR NOT IT'S WORTH THE HASSLE TO ACTUALLY LIST SOMETHING. while it's true that one can never have too many guns, I've got more than my fair share & very little room to add to the collection. "back in the day", during my heavy building days, I put together quite a collection & am still in posession of about a dozen 80% lowers (4-10's & 8-15's). most of my collection was assembled with lowers that I milled out & finished from 80% lowers. the "mill" was purchased & assembled from readily available parts (bin, vice, aquarium pump, etc)as well as a modulus arms 80% jig. as I'm probably not going to be milling out any more lowers (currently got 3 finished 15's), it goes to say that I'm probably not going to be using the mill any longer. is there any use in trying to sell it locally? I figure I've got about $500 into it, with the dewalt router, jig & extra end mill bits. probably wouldn't wnat to ship it as it is bulky & definitely not worth the hassle. I figure anyone interested in milling their own could simply do what I did & make their own, but one never knows.... what say the hive? |

| Just sell it, nothing illegal about it. Not sure why anyone would buy it though, so I would sell the parts separately. Sell the jig online. People already own a vise, most own a router, so just garage sale the tools. Not like you are selling a Ghost Gunner 3 machine or whatever they are that is specifically made for milling lowers. |
