Had to find another SHITTY and EXPENSIVE health insurance plan for 2026 since Ambetter is no longer serving Michigan. The dipshits at Ambetter AUTOMATICALLY signed me up for a BCBSA plan! 4 new BCBS cards just show up in the mail. I'm going WTF? I never signed up for BCBA. Then a month goes by and there's a letter from Ambetter saying THEY signed me up. Meanwhile no fucking mention of what the stupid fucking plan costs. So I call Healthcare.gov and they said DON"T QUOTE ME but about $1700 per month for 4 of us. with a deductible of $11k per person or something ridiculous like that. Long story short. Texted my friend that has a fertilizer service and he said he's been with HEALTHCHOICE OF MICHIGAN for 6 years. Had a baby and paid almost nothing - NO DEDUCTIBLES. I called the salesguy and it sounded too good to be true. Price for family of 3 was 605 to include DENTAL and VISION! Called my accountant and he said another accountant at the company has this plan and it wasn't BULLSHIT. If my friend didn't have it for 6 years I'd call bullshit too but form the website they now have docs from COREWELL and Henry Ford. Only catch is you have to have a business and 2 employees have to join. AND your docs gotta be IN-NETWORK but looks like there's a lot of docs. And you have to get a referral from your PCP.
