maybe a little off topic, but the news in east hampton, besides bells is that "they" want people not to celebrate the 4th buy not using any fireworks on the lake or lake area due to a nesting eagle so not to scare the eaglets out of their nest.....now me, as a conservative Republican thinks its the lefty's attempt to shame people to not celebrate the holiday..now i know that the 4th is more than fireworks etc but for kids it does create memories... i have seen many eagles all over the ct river and to date have not seen a prohibition on fireworks in Middletown or Hartford, gimme a break EH!
