We (ZeroTheory) are holding a one day training clinic for scoped carbines at the Desoto Rifle and Pistol Club on 7/23/2022. Cost is $200. For those that don't know, we're the folks that run the Tactical Carbine matches and the Scoped Tactical Carbine (DMR/RECCE) matches at the club. We also teach a lot of rifle, pistol, precision, and tactical shooting classes in the area. This clinic is designed to teach each shooter how to squeeze the most accuracy potential out of their scoped carbines, typically ARs, out to 500 yards. I'll post the course description and registration link below. 1-Day Scoped Carbine Clinic 1- Day (8 hour) training clinic focused on fundamentals of scoped carbine marksmanship including: rifle/equipment setup, ballistic & environmental data collection, MIL/MOA & BDC reticles, external ballistics, precision marksmanship at distance, positional/barricade shooting, terminology, and more. This is a “clinic” format focusing on applying the above concepts to the student’s individual rifle and optic. Shooters will leave with a complete data set for their specific weapon system including dope verified out to 500 yards. Instruction will be both in the classroom and on the range.
