I don't do it to necessarily win. I do it to improve myself. Do better than before. Try harder than the last event. Meet awesome people and see the awesome people I have already made friends of. I love our sponsors. The prizes are great. But I don't need any of that. I need the camaraderie and good times. The party booms and great food. Heckling and despair. |

I thought it looked like fun, so I went to a regional event. I’ve met some of the most friendly and respectable people on the continent and made lifelong friends. We don’t ask why we chug, we simply consume 72oz for those that cannot. |

| I went to my first event for a couple reasons. I had seen RustedAce’s threads for cw1 and 2 and thought they looked like a fun time. By the time cw3 came around, I was able to make the scheduling work. It was a good chance for me to step out of my comfort zone and meet new people. I had never been to Mississippi before, and the thought of a road trip sounded pretty enticing. A bonus to all this was all the great people I’ve met and friends I’ve made. I don’t Cola Warrior for prizes. I do it to catch up with my friends, and for the misery of it all. |

I wouldn't say I'm a gun nut... but I'd consider extreme enthusiast.
I'm in it for the dude's. Specifically, meeting new friends, hanging out with the old ones, and giving my son a chance to do guy stuff. |

Originally because people I like said it was awesome, but now I want to keep going because it feels like a separate, cooler world that I can be a part of for a few days... like an alternative existence in which you can push yourself to perform under slightly adverse conditions, relax in a remote and austere valley far from the real world, and break bread with some very interesting, cool, freedom-minded people, and make new friends. | I had seen Rusted's thread about CW2 and was deployed for CW3 so I couldn't make that one. I finally got to go to CW4 as a standby, and got to run. I considered myself a decent shot and in decent shape but wanted something to actually test myself in my older age. CW4 was just that, just you against the penalties. I did alright for not really knowing what I was getting into. As they say Harsh but Fair. Not to mention I got to meet up with some of the fine folks I had been chatting with on here for some time. Wasn't about the prizes and still isn't for me. Just trying to do better than the last time and catch up with some fine folks. |

As I get older I like to have an outlet that is lighthearted. I won't win a damn thing because I can't chug and PTing is getting harder. But I won't get olllllldddddd and fattttttt. I can still shoot a rifle so there is that and I am MUCH better with a pistol because of CW. |
