First, thank you! Second, how do we update the info? Is someone coordinating that? I was deeply saddened to see BCM on the list as not shipping. I went to the website today, and there is now a series of check boxes to confirm that you will follow all applicable laws. Virginia is in the drop down shipping list. |

Va Shipping This is the document. As I said, they have changed it to a series of check boxes and put VA back in the drop down. I don’t remember who started this, but I thought it would be a good idea to keep it updated. This is only for shipping parts under the full ban, not guns and mags during the injunctions. |

MAGPUL has stopped all VA sales: "Notice to Virginia Customers SB749 & SB27 Virginia lawmakers passed a number of new laws affecting all firearm accessories, components, and equipment. Magpul is upgrading its systems to meet the requirements of this new legislation. These laws are now in effect as of July 1, 2026 and impose age and identity verification requirements, acknowledgment requirements, and strict shipping requirements related to the sale and delivery of all firearm accessories, parts, and equipment. We are suspending ALL orders of firearms accessories destined for Virginia EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY. We will update this page with any changes to this restriction." |

| Just hurts local retailers, they can't restock Magpul items, which is a shame. I prefer to purchase from my local gunshop and support them and their employees vice ordering online for this kind of stuff. |

They're saying they're just updating their site to accept the orders that you can have. I'm guessing except for their magazine, nothing else is really restricted per se. Perhaps a stock or grip, if you're putting it on some new rifle. My guess is the legal team is drafting up something specifically for Virginia customers so they can make you click the consent button when you place an order on something like that. |

I emailed primary arms about the July 21st state wide injunction. I asked if they would start shipping standard capacity mags (20-30 rounders). Their response was that they would still need LEO I.D. to ship to us. So they will cater to cops only. The sender said they would reach out to their compliance department. |

I emailed Proven Arms & Outfitters. They said their team is still reviewing the situation here in VA and will send out an update in their email newsletter and post on their website once they’ve determined how they’ll handle the injunction and everything else. I imagine being right next door in NC, they need to look at this closely. I noticed a while back that they started charging sales tax on orders from VA, which they didn’t use to do. I don’t know much about how all that works, but I would assume that neighboring states cooperate more closely on reciprocal enforcement of laws. |
| Just got an email from GunMagWarehouse with the subject, “Injunction Junction: Virginia Gets Regular Capacity Back!” That seems self-explanatory, but it doesn’t include any explanation about whether they are waiting to ship until July 21 or shipping immediately. Without any caveat, it would seem that they are shipping to VA now. |

Ordered some trade in 17 round 320 mags from Sportsman’s Outdoor Superstore this morning, no issues. (They’re for a 211 if that makes it better!). I’ll see if I get a shipping notice today. Curious if anyone will refuse to sell even with the injunction in effect today. I’m going to swing by the LGS later to see what’s happening. Probably won’t buy anything but ammo; their mag prices are almost double regular internet price! |

Hampton basspro doesn’t want our money either. I spoke with the lead gun counter manager. He told me basspro corporate won’t allow the sale of ARs, firearms with offending features or standard capacity mags until a permanent injunction is in place. Or the laws are struct down. |

Interesting to see different positions from two major chain stores - Academy Sports and Sportsman's Warehouse in Fredericksburg. Academy is not selling any magazines over 15 rounds and not carrying any handguns with capacity over 15. Nice guy at the counter told me that the corporate HQ is concerned about their liability for sales when the injunction ends, if the law is not completely overturned. He also told me that Academy stopped selling ARs a few years ago after a shooting where the news publicized that the attacker purchased the rifle at an Academy, which I didn't realize. I haven't been to Academy very often after moving away from Texas and never really looked for ARs there anyway. The guy told me that after July 1 (as I suspected), lots of people have come in and been surprised that the gun section looked "cleaned out" and didn't know anything about the new laws and restrictions. Right down the road, Sportsman's Warehouse is carrying ARs and their normal handgun selection, as well as magazines over 15 rounds, but the magazine section is cleaned out (I saw one Magpul 30-round AK magazine on the wall). They told me their lawyers said it was find to continue selling everything in light of the injunction. They said they've been having trouble restocking magazines though. |
