| Wife and I want to take a long weekend to Omaha to visit the zoo with the little one for his birthday, years ago I remember trying to figure out the "bad" areas and came up short, any suggestions on where to stay or not around Omaha? |

Any hotel/motel near the interstate in Omaha is VERY prone to theft of vehicles or items from vehicles. I suggest staying just across the river in CB. This place is within walking distance of Bass Pro Shop, is reasonably priced and has pretty good reviews. Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Council Bluffs, IA |
