It's that time of year, and I always have a party for the family along with a small display. I usually go for Shelton in Covington In but I always get the feeling I am paying way too much using them. There is a southern family that comes and sets up a tent outside East Peoria but they are even more overpriced. |

Highly recommend stopping at the Beef House for dinner, or Gross Burgers depending on where you're coming from. |

I once really liked Beef House but I felt like the last few times I went it was not what it once was. I actually already made the trip and stuck with Shelton but I still can't help feeling there are going to be cheaper places to be found. Their cheapest reloadable mortars were running $4/round, fountains, smokes, 500g packs and really everything else were all up there. |
