SSF vs. ATF covers self-made SBRs and SBSs. Jensen vs. ATF covers the marking/engraving requirement. These were two cases that were merged into one. Depending on how you read the final ruling, you may need to be party to both plaintiff groups (ie: GOA and TSRA), or you may just need to be in one (ie: GOA only). Up to you or your lawyer how you want to interpret it. I'm already members of both, so I have no worries either way. SBRs and SBSs purchased through dealers still require the NFA process. This is regulated under other laws that are not covered by the injunction. My post at the top of page 113 of the GD thread outlines both plaintiff groups as well as each specific challenged provision covered by the injunction. https://www.ar15.com/forums/General/Federal-Court-Strikes-Down-NFA-Registration-on-untaxed-firearms/5-2853946/?page=113 Get to building. ![]() ![]() |
