And I won't be shopping there again. They have the No CCW FIREARMS sign by the door. Doesn't matter because I get my prescriptions at CVS, but I did get other items there. I wonder what brought that on up here? |

In the next week or two Walgreens is getting taken over by the Sycamore group. Its a corporate raiding org. Walgeens will be sucked dry of everything they can get out of it and it will be gone. Much like cracker barrel the board hired a DEI female and she sank it. It was her idea to acquire Rite Aid and over pay for it. Sycamore group actually told the CEO’s and white collars if they would take a pay cut they would try to keep it open. But the EX’s said fuck that. |

Walgreens' Miss DEI Starbucks was after 2019-2020. The Rite Aid acquisitions pre-dated that. Still, Miss DEI Starbucks borked Walgreens pretty hard. My wife noped out of Walgreens two years ago with the store closures in rural SC markets. eta Miss Starbucks was 2021-2023. Under her tenure as CEO, the company's stock declined 47%. The Rite Aid acquisitions were approved by the FTC in 2017. |

Thanks for the correction on rite aid dates i know that decision and other bad ones sank Walgreens . My brother in law drives for the company delivers the stock. He said stores will be closing once they have looked at the books. Drivers already told no more overtime so no extra runs if a store cant get normal delivery because of flooded or closed roads they wont get one. |
