Mom took me through Marshfield pointing out buildings or companies my Grandpa was involved with as part of the family lore. One thing I don't like about WI is you have to assume every square inch of the state is owned by someone who WILL assert his private property rights. There is no assumption that undeveloped land is owned by the feds, state, or county/borough you can hike through. Grew up there and my grandpa also had a business back in the old days...horse drawn milk delivery even.. |
