I was over at my nephew's house in Caldwell helping him in the garage when what appeared to be an ugly woman walked up to us and handed my nephew a card about Prop 1. HE, yeah it was a tranny, said he wanted to talk to us about voting yes on Prop 1 and my nephew said he wasn't interested and the guy left. Hopefully that's the kind of people knocking on doors about this because that tells you what you need to know about it. |

Seeing lots of signs against this, which is nice. Only a few signs for it, and spam mail with very deceptive messaging trying to make it seem like an Open Primaries law and hiding the Ranked Choice Voting aspect of it. Also seeing a disappointingly large number of Harris signs in my neighborhood. I can't imagine the level of stupidity required to look at the way things are and decide that you want that but more, and you want it enough to actually tell people about your intellectual disability. |

Every other commercial seems to either be the "I'm a vet and I'm for freedom vote yes for Prop 1" or "Idaho used to have an open primary make Idaho free again vote yes on Prop 1" Good news is the legislature already said that if it passes they'll just repeal it. |

Who is supporting Prop. 1? Who is funding it? That's all I have to know. In this voting system, ALL candidates are visible on the same ballot. So if the dems, for example, can't get their guy elected, they'll run a RINO of their choice. |

| Been tracking the results on https://results.voteidaho.gov/measures.html. So far with almost 40% of eligible voters tallied it's holding steady at 65+% against prop 1 and 63% in favor of HJR 5. This is encouraging. |

Nearly 70% of Idaho voters opposed Proposition 1 ballot initiative, according to unofficial 2024 general election results SEVENTY p/cent. I'd call that a NO. And everyone who supported it should be responsible for reimbursing the State for the resources squandered to bring it to ballot. And the ballot initiative to require citizenship to vote failed handsomely, too, with only 35% of voters in favor. Bye bye. |

The constitutional amendment HJR005 citizenship voting passed handily. 65% for it. |

The backers of prop 1 willfully and knowingly provided the voters with false and misleading information about the contents of prop 1. Nobody likes a liar. Around 80% of the money supporting prop 1 came from out of state backers with the intent of changing Idaho's political landscape. Glad it's money wasted. Looks like Alaska is repealing the RCV after just one election. |

HJR005 is a constitutional amendment that clarifies an existing Idaho law that says only citizens can vote. How did you come up with that voting against it meant you are voting for non citizens to get the right to vote?
