Hi all, Wife & I will be in for a week. The only real thing we got planned is the river boat dinner cruise. Anything else we should check out/do? Not into bars or drinking. Staying downtown on the river. Can drive a little around. Thanks |

Check out the J.W. Marriott Savannah Power plant hotel. Cool museum stuff that's free to walk through. Vinnie Van GoGo's for some of the best slices of pizza that is fairly priced. Most people only need 1 slice as they are huge slices. Few seafood places along River Street that are not too bad. |

We went a couple of months ago and enjoyed it more than we expected. There are plenty of touristy stores on River Street. The candy stores were fun. The pulled pork Nachos at Dub's Pub were excellent. I believe it's worth a drive to Pooler to check out Palmetto State Armory. I liked looking at their H&R guns. Also in Pooler are some good Korean restaurants. |
