The wife unit and I are going to the Guns & Roses concert in July. We are looking for recommendations for restaurants, breweries, wineries, distilleries, and any good attractions. We won't be doing any shooting, so we don't need range recommendations, and we aren't into sports so going to a game isn't for us. It's in July, so indoor activities are preferred. | I do not live in Raleigh, but visit frequently for work. I really enjoy Deep River Brewing in Clayton. Worth the ride over if you can, solid beers and good vibe. Always have a food truck. I also went to JoCo Brewing once, smaller place but no issues. If you like Peruvian style rotisserie chicken, I highly recommend Alpaca, it's a chain in eastern NC, excellent food. |
If this had happened to me 24 hours ago I'd have so much stripper glitter stuck to me you could throw a flashlight on me, hang me from the rafters and use me as a disco ball.

The several times I’ve been to or through Raleigh, I learned real quick that the traffic there makes Nashville and Atlanta look tame, even on weekends. Depending on where you are staying, I would concentrate in that area and not have to drive clear to the other side of town. Get the Trip Advisor app, it’s free and a good start. |
