Hello everyone, I am new to Arizona and am trying to register my vehicles here. Is there anywhere I can go and actually see the cost before I go into a mvd and do it? In NM the fees are very clearly listed and it’s very transparent. Here it seems to be a math equation to try and guess the amount. I am hoping there is a place I can just go and plug in my vehicle info and get a number it will cost. Or a decent approximation. Thanks for any help. |

I used the online estimator from MVD and when I went in to register my truck, it was within a few dollars of the estimate. Just find the MSRP of your vwehicle, and go from there. Don't forget to get your emissions done before you head in to the office, if you live in the Phoenix or Tucson Metro area. |

Theres very few fees on top of the VLT, like WA the RTA got screwed with the value based fees, but there was a plate fee, weight fee, you look funny fee, oh an EV? Thats another $250 fee, but here its basically just the VLT here. Older vehicles are under $100, I guess I've been screwed too long but its hard for me to complain here. No sales/use tax on non-dealer used vehicle purchases too which is amazing. New high $$$ vehicles get screwed the most but it does come down at a fairly good rate compared to some states. |

Quoted: Arizona is pretty low cost. Admittedly I just re-registered my 2007 Prius in February for two years and it cost $33. In Oklahoma, 90 per vehicle, and about 25 for our 98 4Runner. Another good reason we're building there. Jay |
