Sorry. Not strictly a firearm related topic. Always looking for a upstate source for Buffalo Trace bourbon. No one seems to carry it around me. Total Wine in Greenville say they do, but never have it. Found an on line source but shipping kills me. |

I've had better luck in Georgia than anywhere in SC. From what I understand, the SC liquor distribution system ensures nothing popular or allocated ever makes it to the retail shelf. I know you said Upstate. Folks from the Midlands often run over to Augusta. They posted up some of the store names here in SC HTF. Here's what I grabbed a while back. I've only been to Toast Wine and Beverage. They had bottles that I rarely saw available at Total Wine Harbison (Columbia) or Greens. Good luck! | I'll see who our distributor/wholesalers are there if I can. I just work at the distillery Homeplace, but I'll reach out to sales. I saw it at Frugal Macdougals in Fort Mill last I was there over the summer, and have seen it at a few mom and pops in Clover/York, but haven't been to Greenville in a minute. Go Tigers! |
| Get to be friends with your local store owner (who isn't a foreigner. Not trying to be racist they just tend to overcharge). Buy weekly and then ask as they might keep it behind the counter. My guy called me today, he has 4 bottles of EH Taylor for me. |

| Talking to a friend who works in a liquor store, It's apparently an allocated item so (as he described it) based on population in the state and how much of their other products you sell. If you have a Lowe's Foods near you try the Knock Knock club in the front of the store, should be like $35/liter but you'll have to ask for it and they don't get much of it. Apparently they usually do a raffle for the bottles in the case they periodically get. |
Guess I should ask the neighbor about more liquors.  I've been helping him clean up his mom's house and when I climbed in his truck this morning he handed me a bag with this in it. He knows I don't drink but that I always buy my best friend a bottle of bourbon for his birthday so he gave me this to give to him. Attached File |

Don't know about upstate availability, but I've seen a lot in Sumter the past few weeks. the local red dot I use had a decent stock today 750's and a few handles. I saw Blanton's in stock as well. They actually put their allotments out on the shelves and does not do a lottery for rare/limited bottles. Grabbed a Blanton's and a Woodford Master Collection as holiday gifts. |
