Please contact your U.S. congressmember by phone and e-mail and demand that they vote for Rep. Andrew Clyde’s new (July 1st) House Amendment restoring the full versions of the Hearing Protection Act and the SHORT Act to the bill. Updated from Survivalblog: "The “Big Beautiful” Budget Reconciliation Bill failed several key votes in the House of Representatives yesterday and last night. That means that the bill is now being reopened to amendments! That means that Rep. Clyde’s amendment may be offered again, removing SBRs and SBSes from the NFA, as well as the Hearing Protection Act, removing suppressors from the NFA! Please contact your U.S. congressman again, and ask them to SIde With Clyde, and hold out for the inclusion of his amendment! We have a chance of prevailing, if we apply enough pressure.
