Will be two weeks in Minneapolis working and staying in St. Paul in the Roseville area. Is the Roseville area safe? Any MN CCW things to be aware of? Recommend places to check out and eat at? |

Roseville is fine, you shouldn't have any trouble unless you're looking for it. Lots of parks, restaurants, shopping, etc. Mavericks on Lexington just north of Larpenteur has great roast beef sandwiches. Keys Cafe a block south of that is great for breakfast. Flameburger on Rice Street north of 36 is good greasy burgers if you like that sort of thing. There are plenty of nicer restaurants also, and of course all of the major chains. There's a pretty decent free zoo at Como park just a mile or two down Lexington from maverick's and Keys. MN is pretty reasonable on CC laws. Businesses can post "No Guns Allowed" signs, but they don't have a lot of teeth to them. No one has ever said anything to me about carrying in over 20 years of doing it. |

| The Roseville Walmart has, I think, taken the throne as the worst in the state after the closure of the University Ave store in St. Paul about five years ago. Other than that, it’s a pretty nice area. The 1.7 mile path around Como Lake is a nice walk or ride if you’re looking for some exercise. |
