Every year for the past six years the family goes down for a night’s stay at Ogelbay around Christmas. Indian Mound at Moundsville Ogelbay Museums and Shops Ogelbay Lights Cabela’s Good Zoo Where looking to mix it up and do something new. Any suggestions? Is the Palace of Gold and the Train museum worth the price of admission? Any other ideas? Thanks! |

I didn't notice this was an old thread until after I posted... duh. I grew up in Elm Grove, left in '68. Although I've lived all over the country, the old saying 'there's no place like home" is very true - I do miss it at times. If only there was more economic activity the area would be paradise... |

| Well that's great they have a new shooting center... the area needs it - now if they can get some gun shows y'all wouldn't have to sneak over to Ohio. I used to hang out at Millikens gunshop and I think there used to be a range down in moundsville by Sullivans... but those are all gone now as is Banovs. |
