I would hotlink but I've been bouncing back and forth on several channels. Tara Barker was a UGA law student that was found in her burning apartment in 2001. The case went cold until Brian Kemp created the Coleman-Baker Act. A cold case unit that solved the case over two decades later. The arrested party is a straight POS, Edick Lamont Faust was charged with murder. I've been following this case since day one. One of my good friends little sister was Tara's roommate at the time. The POS deserves the needle but will never get it. |

ACCPD solved the case, I was not aware of that. |

Guilty on all counts. I think it was a GBI agent who took the arrest warrants based on the DNA. I watched as much of the trial as I could. DNA itself doesn't prove a murder, and the burden of proof is one the state, but the jury questions gave a clear indication that it didn't buy the defense theory at all. |
