Ages 7 and 4. Recommendations on where to take them? I will have a rental car am familiar with the area since I lived there for a few years. I figure the DC Zoo is a good option. Anything else I should consider?

A little late, but the Marine Corps Museum at Quantico and Udvar Hazy Air and Space Museum out at Dulles would be high on my list.
